Support YA -> Alef Fund
The money you donate will be allocated in the form of scholarships to students making the transition from public school to a Jewish High School. This was made possible through a law passed allowing you to redirect a portion of your state taxes to a scholarship fund at virtually no cost to you to support students who want to attend Jewish schools.
Currently, through the ALEF Fund - a Student Scholarship Organization created by the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta - taxpayers can contribute $2,500 as a married couple filing jointly and $1,000 as a single individual and earn a dollar-for-dollar State of Georgia Tax Credit. An approved contribution from a "C" Corporation provides up to a 75% tax liability reduction as well.
By helping the fund grow at virtually no cost to you, you can help a Jewish child attend Jewish day or high school who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford a Jewish education
