Attention Healthcare Professionals: Volunteer Opportunity of a Lifetime
"Operation Dove's Wings" will bring the final wave of Ethiopian olim (immigrants) to Israel by the end of 2013. You can be part of this historic process by volunteering for a two-week rotation at the Jewish Healthcare International (JHI) screening clinic in Gondar, Ethiopia.
JHI volunteers conduct physical exams for the Ethiopians preparing to make aliyah (immigrate to Israel). Because of JHI's program, olim now arrive in Israel with medical records, flagged for urgency and accompanied by referral recommendations. Absorption Center staff members are notified ahead for all urgent and critical cases, and upon arrival, they are referred immediately into the local healthcare system.
Volunteer today and support Israel's efforts to bring these people back to their homeland. Two weeks of your time will give a family their very first medical examination. Two weeks of your time will change their lives and yours too. "Operation Dove's Wings" will be complete by the end of 2013. Volunteer now for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
