Yeshiva
Atlanta, we pride ourselves on graduating
well-rounded, academically prepared young men and women.
Every fall, our graduates leave for some of the finest
colleges and universities in the nation, academically
and spiritually prepared for the work that lies before
them.
Drawing on the Jewish heritage
that is the soul of Yeshiva, teachers and administrators
strive to instill our students with morality, character
and a firm sense of ethical values. Our teachers act as
role models, fielding questions from students about life
expeiences and the world around them. These
relationships help the students establish lasting trust
with the faculty of Yeshiva.
The students at Yeshiva Atlanta pride
themselves on initiative and community service, both in
and outside the school walls. Students are responsible
for managing the davening service as well as electing a
Student Council for each class grade that gives students
a voice and opportunity in organizing and overseeing
school functions.
Beyond the classroom, students learn from intellectually
challenging field trips, like our outing to the Van
Gogh to Mondrian
exhibit at the High Museum of Art, or to a school-wide
screening and discussion of the critically acclaimed
film Hotel Rwanda. Our students are also
involved in extracurricular youth groups such as NCSY,
NFTY, USY and BBYO.
Our students gain invaluable experience
at Yeshiva Atlanta, with a comprehensive list of courses
available from Algebra I to Personal Finance, and
Military History to Constitutional Law. We also offer 7
Advanced Placement courses including AP Calculus, AP
Biology, AP Chemistry, AP English, AP American History,
AP American Government, and AP Physics. We also give
students the opportunity to joint enroll at a local
college of their choice during their senior year.
