| Yeshiva Atlanta’s Tribute Dinner is to be held on June 4, 2006 at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead, Atlanta. The 2006 Tribute Journal and Dinner will honor four outstanding members of the Atlanta Jewish community: Rabbi Dr. Michael Berger, David and Eve Adler, and Fred Chaiken.
Rabbi Dr. Michael Berger, Yeshiva Atlanta’s Headmaster, is an outstanding educator who has been instrumental in helping lead the school in many areas these last two years, including student-centered learning, faculty professional development, Judaics standards, and guidance. His expertise in education is appreciated throughout the community and beyond. He serves as a program officer of the Avi Chai Foundation and is a tenured Associate Professor of Religion at Emory University.
Eve and David Adler exemplify commitment to Yeshiva Atlanta and the broader community. Eve is a regular volunteer in the school and serves as the Atlanta Coordinator for The March of the Living. David is a past president of Yeshiva Atlanta and has served on the boards and as an officer of several schools, synagogues, and agencies in our community.
Fred Chaiken is an accomplished trial attorney at Chaiken Klorfein LLC. For many years, he has served, pro bono, as Yeshiva Atlanta's outside General Counsel. Fred volunteers and has served in leadership roles for other well-deserving schools and organizations, as well. More important than the benefit the school gains from his legal counsel is that he serves as a role model for our students.
As part of our annual celebration, we will be publishing a Tribute Journal in honor of Eve and David Adler, Rabbi Dr. Michael Berger and Fred Chaiken.
An ad in the Tribute Journal not only supports our school to which our honorees are so dedicated, but also helps us celebrate them. Here is a link to the ad form (PDF) for our Tribute Journal which will be distributed to over 400 people at our dinner. Please print and complete the form and return it with your ad copy to our school office no later than March 15th, 2006. If you have any questions, please contact Jill Ovadia at 770-451-5299 ext 26.
Please help us pay tribute to these worthy honorees.
